Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: September 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of pear.mom and Pear's app on Facebook, including our quiz and optional offer email membership. Pear is operated by things 'n' artefacts, Denmark, CVR 27542352 ("Pear", "we", "us"). Contact: people@pear.mom.
Facebook app data deletion instructions
You can request deletion of your Pear Facebook app data without signing in to Pear. This page is Pear's public data deletion instruction URL.
- Email people@pear.mom with the subject Facebook data deletion.
- Identify the email address or Facebook app account associated with your use of Pear and tell us you want your Facebook app data deleted. Never send your Facebook password. We may request only the additional information reasonably needed to verify and locate your records.
- To revoke future access as well, open Facebook's settings, find Apps and Websites, select Pear if listed, and remove it. Removing the app alone does not automatically delete information Pear already holds.
We will review your request and delete the associated personal information unless we must retain limited information for legal obligations or claims. We will confirm the result by email and explain any retention or inability to identify records. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month, and explain any legally permitted extension. Requesting deletion is free of charge, subject to exceptions allowed by law.
To also unsubscribe from Pear's offer email list, say so in your request. For more about the information we process and your rights, see the Privacy Policy.
1. Using Pear
By using Pear, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Pear is intended for people aged 18 or older. You must provide accurate information when signing up and use only accounts and contact details that you are authorized to use.
2. The quiz and third-party offers
Pear is a short interest quiz that helps you explore third-party offers. Selecting an offer may start a visible countdown that automatically opens an external website. You can pause the countdown or open the offer immediately. You do not have to provide an email address to continue.
Some links are affiliate links. Pear may earn a commission when you purchase or complete a qualifying action. Inclusion is not a guarantee of an offer's quality, safety, suitability, availability or results. Prices, subscriptions, delivery, cancellations and refunds for external offers are governed by the seller's terms and applicable law. Check them before purchasing. Pear does not collect payment for use of the public quiz or email membership.
3. No professional advice or guaranteed results
Quiz content and linked offers are informational and promotional. They are not personalized medical, nutritional, investment, legal or other professional advice. We do not guarantee income, investment returns, weight loss, health improvements or any other outcome. Consult an appropriately qualified professional for decisions that require individual advice. Never delay medical care because of content on Pear or an offer website.
4. Optional email membership
Selecting “Email me more offers” asks us to send you promotional offers by email. “Free lifetime membership” refers only to free membership in Pear's offer email list for as long as that list operates. It does not include free third-party products, a paid subscription, guaranteed email frequency or a promise that Pear will operate forever. You can unsubscribe by emailing people@pear.mom or using the unsubscribe option in marketing emails.
5. Facebook app
Pear also runs as an app on Facebook. These terms apply when you use Pear through Facebook. Facebook and Meta are separate service providers; using their platforms is also subject to their applicable terms and policies. Pear is operated by things 'n' artefacts and is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Meta or Facebook.
Features that connect to Facebook depend on the permissions you authorize and platform availability. You may revoke app access through Facebook's settings. We may modify or discontinue connected features if permissions, platform rules or availability change. For how we handle information and requests to delete Facebook app data, see our Privacy Policy and data-deletion instructions.
6. Acceptable use and restricted features
Do not use Pear unlawfully, submit spam, impersonate others, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or misuse another person's information. Restricted account and creator features require authorization. Keep credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
If you submit scripts, footage or other content, you must have the necessary rights and permissions. You retain your rights and authorize processing only as needed to provide the features you request. You are responsible for reviewing generated material and obtaining rights before publishing it. Separate expressly agreed commercial terms govern any separate merchant or paid service.
7. Intellectual property
Pear's branding, design, software and original content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for its intended purpose, but these terms do not transfer ownership or allow unauthorized copying, resale or use of our branding. Third-party names and content belong to their respective owners.
8. Availability and liability
We aim to provide a useful service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content or the continued availability of external offers. We may maintain, change or suspend features, and restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security or legal requirements.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for losses caused by independent third-party services or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information, including quiz analytics, optional email signup and Facebook app data. Agreement to these terms does not by itself constitute consent to marketing or other processing that requires separate consent.
10. Changes, law and disputes
We may revise these terms and will publish the updated date here. Material changes apply prospectively, with additional notice or agreement where required by law. You may stop using Pear at any time.
Danish law governs these terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Nothing here removes your right to bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. Please contact us first at people@pear.mom so we can try to resolve a concern.
